En Chêne was an environmental building and renovation company based in the Dordogne. It started life in 2018, specialising in traditional oak frames, but when our head carpenter returned to the UK in 2020 to study for an MA, we decided to diversify. En Chêne was deregistered in 2021 and the owner and founder Jeremy Bird is now mainly working as Project Manager.
